Nothing new in this discwrite.uk article if you’ve been following the kiosk.net posts, but a good recap of the past couple months. Factors such as Netflix, Akimbo, TV with internet hook up, and copyright infringement are analyzed and resorted to paint a possible picture of the future.
To recap: Things are moving ahead, slowly but surely. Not as quickly as some would have thought at the turn of the century, but gradually. Given a little more time and a few advances in technology, downloading will become the weapon of choice for consumers, but not yet.
