Frasier: The Complete Fifth Season
Come back to Seattle and Dr. Frasier Crane with Frasier: The Complete Fifth Season. Watch as Frasier (Kelsey Gammer) deals with his competitive brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce), their crotchety father Marty (John Mahoney), and live-in home care provider Daphne (Jane Leeves), who’s also the love of Niles’ life. The show was the first series to receive five consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series.

MacGuyver: Season 2

John Travolta revises the role of Chili Palmer in Be Cool, the sequel to 1995’s critical and box-office hit Get Shorty. Be Cool follows loan shark Chili as he moves out of the movie biz and into the music industry to launch the career of a Beyonce-like singer (Christina Milian) with the help of a widowed music executive (Uma Thurman). Along the way he encounters a racially confused manger (Vince Vaughn), his sleazebag boss (Harvey Keitel), and others in this fast, fun sequel. Seed of Chucky
Chucky’s back, and this time he brought his son. In Seed of Chucky, Glen (Billy Boyd) and his partner Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) have found out about a movie being made about his parents’ gory misadventures, and vow to cause chaos on set and off by bringing Chucky and his bride back from hell. Directed by Don Mancini. (R)

Rescue Me: Season 1
Denis Leary shines as Tommy Gavin, a struggling firefighter in post-9/11 New York City in FX’s drama Rescue Me. Tommy is the guy that everyone at the firehouse confides in, but he’s also an alcoholic fresh off a divorce. He’s surrounded by a crew with their own problems, like Franco (Daniel Sunjata), who learns he fathered a daughter with an ex-girlfriend, or Chief Jerry Reilly (Jack McGee), who puts it all on the line when he beats a gay firefighter in a bar. It’s a compelling depiction of how men react to stress in today’s world. (TV-MA)

Are We There Yet?

When Suzanne’s work keeps her stuck in Vancouver over New Year’s Eve, Nick offers to bring her kids to her from Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, the kids have never liked any of the men their mom has dated, and they don’t plan on making the trek very easy.

It’s a year later when Dan and Anna begin an affair of their own and the relationships between the four begin to crumble apart. Directed by Mike Nichols. (R)

House of Flying Daggers

Fans of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” will like House of Flying Daggers, which follows the story of police deputies Jin and Leo as they investigate the secret House of Flying Daggers organization near the end of Tang dynasty in China. Leo arrests Mei, a dancer who claims she has ties to the organization, only to have Jin free her in order to gain her trust and help them bring the organization to justice, but things aren’t always as they seem. Cinematographer Xiaoding Zhao received an Oscar nod for the film. Directed by Yimou Zhang. (PG-13)

Suspect Zero

Suspect Zero follows Dallas FBI Agent Thomas after he violates the civil rights of a serial killer during his arrest and is reassigned to a remote branch in Albuquerque, where he becomes involved in the investigation of a murder of a traveling salesman. At first the murder seems to be one of three random killings, but the case might be a lot more personal than Mackelway expected. Directed by E. Elias Mehige. (R)
