Half Insert Magnetic Stripe Card Reader MTK-R13

MTK-R13 is the DIP card reader for magnetic stripe reading/decoding that features compact design and easy integration. The reader supports both hi-co/lo-co magnetic cards which can decode 60% of the Magnetic stripe length of all ISO1~3 tracks of ISO/IEC7811.

60% of the magnetic stripe can record approximately 52 characters on track 1, 25 chars on track 2, and 73 chars on track 3, which can satisfy most common usage of member cards, gift cards. Comparing to normal swipe readers, the DIP reader can be more easily embedded, and also more dust/water-proof.

There are RS232 and TTL interface options for this reader, RS232 allows direct COM connection to computer, no driver is needed. TTL model outputs raw F2F data for processing by controllers. There are 2 on-board switch sensors installed, which can be triggered when card pushing in or pulling out.

For installation, the reader supports both panel and bracket mounting easily. The reader can be directly embedded and fixed onto the enclosure panel. Or it can be mounted on an inside bracket when bezel is not necessary.

The DIP reader is optimal for usage in gaming machines, casino kiosks and various POS, self-service terminals.

Notes: In order to use this reader properly, your magnetic card should be at most 60% encoded from the starting edge. Fully-encoded cards will not be supported.
